6 years agoGolden State Warriors shooting guard/small forward Klay Thompson lit up the Chicago Bulls for 52 points while making an NBA-record 14 makes from three in just 27 minutes of action. Thompson shot 18-for-29 overall from the floor, but most importantly, he was 14-for-24 from three which broke his teammate's (Stephen Curry) record of 13 makes. Thompson had six makes from three in the opening quarter and 10 by halftime. Thompson came into tonight's contest having made just 5-for-36 from three and owners could not have asked for a better bounce-back game from the sniper.--Gianni Costantiello
