6 years agoGolden State Warriors shooting guard/small forward Klay Thompson connected on 11-for-26 from the floor as he poured in 25 points which were not enough as his club picked the loss on Sunday. Thompson was 3-for-11 from three as he added two rebounds with a couple of assists and four turnovers on the night. Thompson owners were hoping for him to step up his production with Stephen Curry (groin) out and this has not been the case as he has shot just 39.7% over his last five games while averaging 22.4 points, which is not much more than his season average of 21.4 points.--Gianni Costantiello
