3 years agoGolden State Warriors small forward Klay Thompson had his entire offensive arsenal firing during Saturday's win over the Bucks as he set new season highs with 38 points and eight made triples. While Stephen Curry was held under wraps for a season-low eight points, Thompson became the focal point and shot 15-for-24 overall, all while adding in six rebounds and five assists. One of the game's premier sharpshooters, Thompson had entered play shooting just 23.3% from behind the arc over his last four contests; that was quickly squelched by his 8-for-14 night shooting from long range, his most makes in any outing since March 8, 2019. Next up is an outing against Washington on Monday, which has yielded the second-fewest made threes (10.9) to opponents on a nightly basis this year.--Jesse Borek
