Knicks Make Mitchell Robinson The 36th Selection
6 years agoThe New York Knicks selected Mitchell Robinson with the 36th overall pick Thursday night in the NBA Draft. Robinson is an unbelievable athlete. He is also a great rebounder and shot blocker. Robinson is also very raw, considering he missed last year with a school issue, and is also only 20 years old. The intriguing thing is with Kyle O’Quinn opting out and becoming a free agent, the only player ahead of Robinson on the Knicks depth chart is Joakim Noah, who has major injury concerns. With all those factors, Robinson may have a similar year in 2018-2019 that Brooklyn Nets center Jarrett Allen had in 2017-2018.
