4 years agoNew York Knicks guard Elfrid Payton and forward Taj Gibson have been waived by the organization. This doesn't come as surprising news since both players were expected to have significant salaries next season. Payton was the best point guard for the Knicks last season, but that doesn't mean a whole lot. Gibson is basically a backup forward who isn't worth his $10.3 million salary. Both players should be able to land themselves bench spots elsewhere. However, neither player is expected to have a relevant role in fantasy leagues.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
