6 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Kole Calhoun dominated the team's two-game series against the Dodgers, going 6-for-9 with two home runs, three runs scored, four doubles and four runs batted in. Calhoun is slugging .577 over his last 30 games with nine home runs and now is slugging .500 for the season. The veteran slugger is enjoying his best offensive month of the season, slashing .323/.405/.692 in the month of July with 12 extra-base hits over his last 65 at-bats. From a fantasy perspective, Calhoun provides power and little else but could help rosters in deeper formats.
