5 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Kole Calhoun is starting and hitting third as the team takes on the Rays on Saturday. With Mike Trout sidelined, Calhoun has been tasked with driving in runs and has delivered the past few games. Calhoun cranked a home run on Thursday and then backed it up with two more home runs on Friday. This now gives him a total of 31 on the season, by far a new career high. But the veteran slugger has been wildly inconsistent this season and currently is hitting only .147 in the month of September. Calhoun will provide power, and little else, to fantasy rosters moving forward.--Joey C - RotoBaller
