2 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Kole Calhoun (heel) was placed on the 10-day injured list with right heel irritation on Thursday. The severity of Calhoun's injury is unknown, but he will miss at least the next 10 days. Calhoun is slashing .211/.269/.363 with 11 home runs, 43 RBI, 35 runs, and two stolen bases over 350 plate appearances in 2022. Bubba Thompson's contract was purchased from Triple-A Round Rock in a corresponding move. Thompson has elite speed and has stolen 49 bags over 80 games in Triple-A.
