Kole Calhoun Likely To Begin Rehab Assignment Next Week
4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Kole Calhoun (hamstring) said he expects he will begin a rehab assignment next week, according to Jody Jackson of Bally Sports Arizona. Calhoun has been out since the end of April after undergoing surgery on his hamstring to remove "a damaged left semitendinosus tendon," and has only played in 13 games this season after missing the start of the year due to surgery to repair a partially torn meniscus. When he has been on the field this year, he looked solid as he slashed .292/.353/.479 with two home runs, one steal, five RBI and six runs scored. In deeper mixed leagues and NL-only formats, he could be worth stashing now on the IL until his return.
