4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Kole Calhoun is optimistic that he will be able to return to the team from knee surgery shortly after Opening Day reports MLB.com's Steve Gilbert. Calhoun underwent surgery on his right knee on Wednesday morning to repair a torn meniscus, which Gilbert writes has an average recovery time of four to six weeks. Calhoun told Gilbert that he is aiming to try and return to the team by the four week mark, but even if he misses the full six weeks that would only have him missing the first two weeks of the regular season. With this news managers should feel comfortable in still drafting him in most formats, as he remains a good source of power late in drafts.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
