4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Kole Calhoun (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Wednesday with a strained right hamstring. Calhoun was forced to leave Tuesday's game after grabbing his leg while attempting to steal a base, and the veteran outfielder will have to miss time as a result. It's a tough break for Calhoun, who had already been sidelined at the beginning of the year due to offseason knee surgery. The team recalled outfielder/catcher Daulton Varsho. He is expected to make some starts in the outfield with Calhoun sidelined, along with Pavin Smith.--Tim Capurso
