3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Kole Calhoun (hamstring) was removed from Tuesday's contest at Triple-A Reno. This surely isn't the news that fantasy managers wanted to hear, primarily since the veteran appeared to be inching his way toward a return sometime in July after undergoing hamstring surgery a few months ago. The 33-year-old was playing well before going down with the injury, batting .292 throughout 51 plate appearances. Nonetheless, with the D'backs dealing with injuries across the board, the club will likely continue to play musical chairs with its outfield moving ahead.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
