6 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Kole Calhoun is hitting only .185 in the month of August as the team prepares to host the Pirates on Monday. Calhoun is coming off a month of July where he posted a .576 slugging percentage with seven doubles and seven home runs. Calhoun has already tied his career-high in home runs this season with 26 but has displayed an inconsistency at the plate at times. After hitting .174 in the month of April, he posted a .299 batting average in May. He followed that up with a .191 mark in June and then bounced back by hitting .272 in July. If this trend is any indication, Calhoun is in line for some struggles offensively over the next week or so.--Joey C - RotoBaller
