Kris Bryant Back In Lineup Tuesday
2 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Kris Bryant (foot) will serve as the designated hitter and bat third on Tuesday against Chicago White Sox right-hander Michael Kopech. Bryant missed Monday's game due to soreness in his foot and saw a specialist on Tuesday before rejoining the lineup. The four-time All-Star has played in only 36 games this year due to injuries in his first season in Colorado, but he's swung the bat well when healthy, going 42-for-140 (.300) with five home runs, 14 RBI and 25 runs scored over 158 plate appearances. The 30-year-old has been even better in the month of July, sporting a .339/.403/.662 slash line with a 1.064 OPS, five home runs, 10 RBI and 12 runs scored in 16 games. Get him back into your starting fantasy lineups.
