Kristaps Porzingis Bags Third Straight Double-Double
5 years agoIn the second game without superstar Luka Doncic, power forward Kristaps Porzingis stepped up and carried the load for the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night. Although the Mavericks ultimately fell to the Boston Celtics 109-103, Porzingis recorded his third straight double-double performance. He had 23 points, 13 rebounds, three blocks, two assists and one steal in 38 minutes. The Latvian unicorn now has 10 double-doubles on the season and is having a bounce-back month in December after he stumbled in November. The Mavericks have not set a timetable for Doncic's return, so fantasy managers can expect this type of production from Porzingis to continue until his superstar point guard returns to the starting lineup.
