5 years agoDallas Mavericks power forward/center Kristaps Porzingis received X-rays on his left foot following Thursday’s win over the San Antonio Spurs and they came back negative, although Porzingis noted that his foot has been sore as of late. Entering play Thursday, he had been asked to take on an increased all-around role with Luka Doncic out of the mix as of late, although it appears that Dallas may have to take it slow with their 7-foot-3 forward at some point. The team next suits up Saturday versus Golden State, but are slated to play a back-to-back versus Los Angeles on national TV on Sunday. While it’s no guarantee, Dallas may opt to play it safe with Porzingis versus the Warriors, although checking back for any official updates is highly recommended.--Jesse Borek
