3 years agoDallas Mavericks forward/center Kristaps Porzingis was involved in everything on Friday against Sacramento, helping his side to a 112-96 victory with 24 points, nine rebounds, six assists and two blocks. He went a superb 8-for-14 from the floor with a 2-for-4 effort from deep and hit six of his seven free throws. Porzingis had a strong finish to 2021 with Luka Doncic (health and safety protocols) unavailable, going for at least 24 points in four consecutive games. The matchup against the Kings, who are hopeless against opposing bigs, was a very favorable one for Porzingis as well. Sunday's visit to Oklahoma City should bring him more success, as the Thunder sit among the worst rebounding teams in the league and their defensive play isn't good either.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
