Kristaps Porzingis Puts Together Massive 32-Point Outing
5 years agoAny concerns about how long it would take for Dallas Mavericks power forward Kristaps Porzingis to acclimate not only with his new team but the NBA game as a whole coming off of injury were quickly squelched Sunday when the 7-foot-3 Latvian went for 32 points and nine rebounds in the team’s loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. For Porzingis, the scoring total is his highest since Dec. 12, 2017, when he was a member of the New York Knicks. Through his first three games as a Maverick, he has reestablished himself as one of the league’s most dynamic weapons, hitting three triples in each contest and averaging 26.3 points per game. He faces off with the Nuggets on Tuesday.
