5 years agoDallas Mavericks power forward/center Kristaps Porzingis continued his excellent play as of late when he scored 28 points on 7-for-17 shooting in the loss to the Jazz on Monday. Porzingis also connected on 11 of 13 at the line and added five rebounds with a steal and a block in 35 minutes of action. It has been nice to see the Zinger stepping up in the absence of Luka Doncic (ankle) as he has tallied at least 28 points in four of his last five games. Doncic is expected back on Wednesday, but this should not affect Porzingis' output too much.--Gianni Costantiello
