4 years agoDallas Mavericks center Kristaps Porzingis scored 36 points on 13-for-21 shooting in Friday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. In addition, he grabbed seven rebounds and dished out one assist. Porzingis was 8-for-13 from three and also blocked one shot. He'll face the Trail Blazers on Sunday, who allow opponents to shoot the 16th-highest percentage from three and to score the sixth-most points per game. Porzingis has seen his role from three lately and has only had one game this season with under 15 points, though we probably should temper expectations a little as he hadn't taken this many shots or threes this season before Friday.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
