Kristaps Porzingis Shoots Below 20% On Tuesday
5 years agoDallas Mavericks power forward Kristaps Porzingis was extremely ineffective for fantasy teams on Tuesday night against the New Orleans Pelicans. The Latvian unicorn was held to 2-for-11 shooting on the night, and that resulted in a box score of seven points, six rebounds and one assist. He tried his best to salvage his fantasy night on the defensive end with a season-high five blocks, but owners will be wondering what went wrong for Porzingis in the offensive categories. He's averaging less than 10 points per game in his last four contests, including a two-point, 0-for-8 performance just three games ago. Porzingis has been inconsistent throughout the season and he may be still adjusting back to the NBA grind after missing 20 months of action due to his injury in 2018. Fantasy managers should continue to ride the wave, as the highs can be extremely high to combat these lowest of low stretches.
