Kristaps Porzingis Will Be Held Out Of Monday’s Game
4 years agoDallas Mavericks power forward/center Kristaps Porzingis (knee, rest) has been ruled out for Monday's contest against Philadelphia. Porzingis has not played in both legs of a back-to-back since early February, so the move is not entirely surprising. The big man is coming off of a dominant 31-point, 15-rebound effort Sunday, now having rattled off three consecutive double-doubles. Maxi Kleber and Willie Cauley-Stein can be expected to have increased roles on the glass and to see a minutes uptick, while Luka Doncic and Tim Hardaway Jr. figure to have more scoring opportunities. Managers can expect Porzingis back and raring to go Wednesday versus the Grizzlies.
