Kyle Farmer Homers, Steals A Base
3 years agoCincinnati Reds shortstop Kyle Farmer went 3-for-5 with a homer, two runs, an RBI, and a steal in a 5-4 win over the San Diego Padres on Thursday. Farmer connected on a solo shot off of San Diego closer Mark Melancon in the bottom of the ninth inning to tie up the game before catcher Tyler Stephenson hit a walk-off single to win it for the Reds. Farmer is hitting .220 with six homers, 24 runs, 26 RBI, and two steals across 221 at-bats in 2021. He has been trending up of late, hitting .278 over his past seven games.
