5 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks (shoulder) said that he felt great after throwing 30 pitches during a bullpen session on Wednesday. The next step for Hendricks will be to throw 45 pitches on Saturday. Hendricks has been sidelined since the middle of June with right shoulder inflammation. Prospect Adbert Alzolay and veteran Tyler Chatwood have both made starts in his absence. Alzolay has pitched very well in both a relief appearance and a start and is worth consideration in NL-only and deeper mixed leagues.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
