4 years agoNew York Yankees catcher Kyle Higashioka went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Tuesday's loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. Higashioka plated the first run of the night for New York in the bottom of the seventh inning with a single off of Blue Jays' lefty Steven Matz. He later doubled in his final at-bat of the night. Both of Higashioka's hits traveled at exit velocities of 99 MPH or greater as he loudly broke out of a 1-for-16 slide at the plate. The 31-year-old has settled back into more of a backup role to Gary Sanchez, though he's still a capable bat for the Yankees when his name is called. His inconsistency leaves him off the fantasy radar, though.--Tim Capurso
