6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers small forward/power forward Kyle Kuzma has thrived in the two games that LeBron James (groin) has missed due to injury. Kuzma is coming off his second straight 20-point, eight-rebound,four-assist effort against the Clippers on Friday when he tallied 24 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out five assists. There are a couple of concerns, with one being his three-point shooting and the other being turnovers. As the second-year pro's usage has gone up recently, so has his three-point attempts but his percentage has dropped as he is 2-for-15 from long-range over the last two games and 9-for-35 in his previous five outings. He also has turned the ball over 10 times over the previous two contests and 14 times in the past four games. Kuzma has been excellent against the Kings, who the Lakers play on Sunday, this season as he is averaging 22 points, six rebounds and 3.5 assists in two previous games. It is his second highest point total against any opponent that he has played more than one game.--Daniel Benjamin
