Kyle Kuzma Scores 27 Points In Loss
6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers small forward/power forward Kyle Kuzma tallied 27 points on 12-for-22 shooting from the field and 2-for-7 from the three-point line in Friday's 133-120 loss to the Spurs. He chipped in eight rebounds, two steals, two assists, along with two turnovers in a game-high 39 minutes. It was his second-highest scoring effort this year and third straight game of scoring 20 or more points. The second-year pro, who is currently playing his best basketball of the season, is averaging 24 points along with 8.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists as well as 2.7 treys a game while shooting 49.1 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from beyond the arc over the last three games. Kuzma will look to extend his streak of hauling in at least eight caroms to six consecutive games in a difficult matchup on Saturday against the Grizzlies, who are strong up front defensively.
