3 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Kyle Lewis (knee) began his rehab assignment at Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday with a bang. He homered in his first at-bat of the game and went 3-for-5 overall with three RBI and two runs scored. The 26-year-old has been out since last spring after suffering a torn meniscus in his right knee. He'll likely remain at Triple-A for at least another week or so, but we'd expect to see him back in the majors at some point this month. It's going to be interesting to see how the outfield picture shapes up for the Mariners once Lewis is back. Jarred Kelenic seems like he could wind up being the odd man out unless he starts to put things together soon.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
