Kyle Lowry Sets Franchise Record On Tuesday Night
5 years agoToronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry dished out 11 assists on Tuesday night against the Atlanta Hawks, and in the process became the all-time franchise leader in assists. On a long pass to Terence Davis in the fourth quarter, Lowry passed Jose Calderon and further cemented his legendary status in Toronto. He wasn't too shabby in the other categories against the Hawks with 12 points, 11 assists, eight rebounds and one steal. Lowry's eight shot attempts on Tuesday were his lowest since Dec. 11, but let's chalk that up to him wanting to set the record in front of his home crowd. Expect his scoring and shooting volume to right itself on Thursday against the Cavaliers.
