Kyle Lowry Will Miss Saturday’s Game, Likely To Play Sunday
4 years agoToronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry (foot) has been ruled out for Saturday's game versus the Cavaliers due to a right foot infection, but head coach Nick Nurse was optimistic that he'd have his PG back Sunday against New York. Lowry's absence will mark his sixth consecutive contest on the sidelines, paving the way for Malachi Flynn to see unabated minutes at the PG slot. Injuries have consistently scuttled Lowry's progress this year, even as he has managed to average 17 points and 7.3 assists per game, keeping him in strong season-long relevance when healthy. He knocked down four threes en route to scoring 20 points versus the Knicks in their last meeting Dec. 31.
