Kyle Seager Belts First Homer Of 2019
6 years agoSeattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager provided most of the team's offense in their 13-3 loss at the hands of the Angels on Sunday. He finished the afternoon going 2-for-3 with a homer, double, and a walk, scoring two of the team's runs. The long ball was the first of the season for Seager after he missed the first two months of the season recovering from hand surgery. The 31-year-old has been a consistent fantasy contributor hitting 20-plus homers in seven-straight seasons, although he'll really have to mash the rest of the way if he wants to extend the streak to eight. Seager is a reliable corner infield option in mixed leagues, but his counting stats will likely suffer as the M's will certainly sell off more parts as the season progresses.
