5 years agoSeattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager went 1-for-4 in Monday's win over the Athletics. Seager had been struggling recently going hitless in his last five games. The batting average has dropped to .253 in that span as well. This season has been tough for fantasy owners because while Seager had been a top-level third baseman for most of it, it is still such a small sample size when compared to a regular 162-game season. Seager probably isn't as good as he was earlier in the year, but he's also not this bad and will probably regress to somewhere in the middle. He is still a decent third base option moving forward.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
