4 years agoSeattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager got back on track Friday night in a loss against the Boston Red Sox, going 2-for-5 with four RBI. He drove in a run in the first inning with a double off the Green Monster, and then added a three-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to bring the Mariners within a run. The home run was his third of the season. Before Friday night, Seager had gone five consecutive games without reaching base, so it was certainly encouraging to see him break out. Other than this recent mini-slump, Seager has been hitting the ball hard, and fantasy managers can continue to play him with confidence.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
