Kyle Seager Hits 16th Long Ball Thursday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager went deep for the 16th time this year Thursday, smacking a solo shot off New York Yankees starting pitcher Jordan Montgomery. It was Seager's only hit in four at-bats, as he struck out his other three times to the plate. This game is an excellent representation of Seager's season, as he's supplied ample power and a solid total of 50 RBI, but has been a negative contributor at batting average with his .216 mark. Fantasy managers in deeper leagues should ride it out with Seager, but there are most likely better options in shallower formats.
