7 years agoSeattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager has caught fire over the past few games, posting six hits over his last 12 at-bats (.500). The mini-hot streak has skyrocketed Seager's batting average up to .262 and has driven in eight runs over his last five played. The top half of the Mariners lineup has come out of the gate swinging some hot bats and now Seager is joining in on the hit parade. Seager is a veteran hitter with several 20-plus home run seasons under his belt so certainly it was only a matter of time. But the whole lineup is clicking right now, making Seager a strong play, at a moderate price, in daily leagues this weekend.--Joey C - RotoBaller
