6 years agoSeattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager is 7-for-52 (.135) over his last 15 games as his season continues to spiral downward offensively. The veteran is careening towards his worst offensive season as a pro and has not homered since August 18. He is hitting only .225 with runners in scoring position and is slugging only .380 in home games this season. He has eclipsed 20-plus home runs for the seventh straight season but is slashing an abysmal .175/.227/.322 since the All-Star break and the team is experimenting with Robinson Cano at third base. Seager can be dropped in most formats for the rest of the season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
