4 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Kyle Tucker will hit leadoff on Friday against Chris Bassitt and the Oakland Athletics. Primary leadoff hitter George Springer (wrist) is sidelined for the game as he deals with a wrist injury that he suffered in Thursday's game. This will be Tucker's second game as a leadoff hitter this year. We've seen some promising signs from Tucker in this early season and clearly manager Dusty Baker has as well. Tucker hit his first home run of the year on Wednesday and has reached base safely in four of his past five games.
