6 years agoBoston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving saw 22 minutes of action during Friday night's loss to the Charlotte Hornets. Irving, who had knee surgery towards the end of last season, got the start, scoring nine points on 40 percent shooting from the field. He did struggle from deep, going only 1-for-5, but supplemented that stat by pulling down four boards and dishing out three assists as well as blocking one shot. With an increased focus on his health, which includes adjusting his pregame routine, Irving appears committed, and able, to put in an 82-game season, something he has yet to do throughout his seven years in the league.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
