Kyrie Irving Collects 39 Points On Uber-Efficient Shooting
5 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving continued his early season scoring barrage during his team’s victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday. Irving logged 39 points on just 13-for-21 shooting, knocking down all 11 free throws that he attempted in addition to padding his stat line with nine assists, four rebounds and three steals. While owners can revel in Irving’s scoring (31.7 points per game), having him dish out at least nine assists in each of his last three contests is likely even more encouraging. One of the premier fantasy guards in the league to this point, there doesn’t appear to be a roadblock on Irving’s horizon.
