A new James Harden agreement is also being orchestrated, with the hope that both players receive new contracts before the start of the 2021-22 NBA campaign. The 29-year-old averaged 26.9 points, 6.0 assists, and 4.8 rebounds while shooting over 40 percent from deep last year. However, he was again unable to log an entire season, appearing in only 54 regular-season games.
