Kyrie Irving Drops 30 Points In Return To Lineup
6 years agoBoston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving returned from a one-game absence during Saturday’s win over the Los Angeles Lakers, logging 30 points on 12-for-18 shooting. He added five made threes for the first time since Jan. 19, giving him five or more on seven occasions this year. Irving saw a team-high 35 minutes and added seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks, so any injury concerns can be promptly squelched. Owners are best served keeping an eye on his status ahead of Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers, but he could be in line for another strong performance as LA has had difficulty checking opposing point guards in 2018-19.
