Kyrie Irving Racks Up 36 Points In Defeat
6 years agoBoston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving once again had it working on the offensive end against the Philadelphia 76ers during Wednesday’s loss, collecting 36 points on 12-for-29 shooting. Irving dropped 40 versus Philly on Christmas Day, piling up nine rebounds and four assists in addition to his scoring output this time around. He seems to be heating up at just the right time, having reeled off four consecutive outings with at least 30 points. He next matches up with the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday, whom he has averaged 26 points per game against in two prior matchups this season.
