Kyrie Irving Remains Out For Pivotal Game 7
3 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving (ankle) will not play on Saturday in the series-clinching matchup against Milwaukee. Irving sprained his right ankle during Game 4 nearly a week ago, but he still has a way to go before considering stepping back on the court. As a result, his status for the Eastern Conference Finals (if the Nets advance) is up in the air, and with James Harden (hamstring) also not 100 percent, it will be the Kevin Durant show for the finale, with the former MVP finishing the Game 6 loss with 32 points on 15-for-30 shooting from the floor.
