6 years agoBoston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving finished with 19 points on 9-for-24 shooting during Saturday’s loss to the Dallas Mavericks. It was a slog from the field for Irving, who was unable to knock down any of the five threes that he attempted as well. He was able to add six assists and five rebounds, but took just a single free throw, a category in which he entered the night on pace for a career low (3.1 attempts per game). He’ll face off with the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday, who are allowing the second-most points per game (117.3) this season.--Jesse Borek
