Kyrie Irving Sign-And-Trade Seems Likely
2 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving has received permission from the team to find a sign-and-trade partner. As of right now, the Los Angeles Lakers appear to be the only team interested in Irving via a sign-and-trade. It's unlikely that the Lakers have anything to offer the Nets to pull Irving from them. The All-Star guard has until Thursday to decline his $36 million player option. After that, Irving would be able to sign with the Lakers for a $6 million exception. This is certainly a headache for the Nets who have seen their juggernaut roster explode in front of their eyes. This saga is likely going to last quite awhile, so fantasy managers should check back in a few days for another update.
