7 years agoBoston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving (knee) will play against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday. He did not play Monday against the Chicago Bulls due to knee soreness, but it just sounds precautionary. Celtics general manager Danny Ainge said Irving will need to manage his knee the rest of his career. "I don't think it's anything serious, but we want Kyrie healthy and fresh," Ainge said. Ainge also mentioned that he knew before the season that Irving was not going to play all 82 games. Irving expects to be back on the court Thursday, but it is unclear if he'll have any restrictions.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
