Kyrie Irving's Strong Start Continues
5 years agoIt wasn't another 50-point game, but Brooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving was still the focal point offensively for the Nets on Friday as the team beat the New York Knicks. Irving put up 26 points on 8-for-19 shooting and added two rebounds and five assists. Irving should continue to lead the Nets in scoring most nights, and the 2-for-8 mark from deep that he had on Friday shouldn't be a common issue. Brooklyn faces the Grizzlies on Sunday, and Irving should have an easy time scoring against rookie point guard JA Morant.
