3 years agoLos Angeles Lakers guard Russell Westbrook finished the 2021-22 campaign by averaging 18.5 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 7.1 assists. The 33-year-old has been as durable as it gets throughout his career, and despite seeing a slight dip in production during his first season in L.A., he was a relatively reliable contributor. However, it's no secret Westbrook had been subject to scrutiny from Lakers' fans. Still, the team intends to keep him on the roster, assuming he exercises his $47.1 million player option. Nevertheless, this probably isn't the last Westbrook's name will be mentioned heading into the new year. Yet, the 2017 Most Valuable Player should continue to have plenty to offer fantasy managers wherever he ends up, although his best days are likely behind him.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
