LaMarcus Aldridge Returns To Form With 27-Point Outing
5 years agoSan Antonio Spurs power forward/center LaMarcus Aldridge appears to be past any rust caused by a thumb ailment that sidelined him for two games in the wake of his 27-point performance during Monday’s loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. Aldridge shot 9-for-17 overall and knocked down multiple triples in an outing for the first time since Jan. 19. He came just one rebound shy of a double-double and pitched in five assists and two blocked shots to polish off a top-notch effort. He is in line for another tough matchup Tuesday in the second leg of a back-to-back against the Lakers, whom he has delivered eight- and 30-point showings against earlier this season.
