LaMarcus Aldridge Ruled Out For Wednesday’s Game
4 years agoSan Antonio Spurs power forward/center LaMarcus Aldridge (knee) has been deemed inactive for Wednesday's contest versus the Lakers. Aldridge is coming off a four-point performance in his most recent outing, with his absence likely paving the way for Jakob Poeltl to take on an increased role in the frontcourt. Rudy Gay also saw an increased usage in the offense without Aldridge on the floor, although he is expected to continue leading the second unit. Through three games, the veteran big man has averaged just 12 points and 4.3 rebounds per contest with his injury news derailing much of his fantasy intrigue, especially if it continues to be bothersome moving forward. Aldridge's next chance to return to action comes Friday when the team hosts Los Angeles again.
